1939, June 15th, the Reichsbank was put under the control of the Führer and Reichskanzler Adolf Hitler. Since this moment Adolf Hitler was able to allow a credit directly to the German Empire. Beginning of May 1942 the Reichsbank got the title of a "Nationalsocialism Model Plant". With the end of WW2 the Reichsbank stops to exist. The fixed liability of the Reichsbank was partly taken by the Bundesbank.
